Sizzix Embossed & Die Cut Polymer Clay

DIe Cut Polymer Clay

Here is my first experiment with sizzix and polymer clay.  I conditioned the clay and rolled it out in my pasta machine to a thickness of 4 (1 being thickest and 9 thinnest).  I baked it for about 10 minutes, then removed it from the oven and let it cool.  Next I ran it through my sizzix in the Tim Holtz Dots texture fade folder.  Then I die cut it with Sizzix Originals circle die, to fit perfectly in my one inch circle bezels for the below pendants!
Embossing Polymer ClayThis is so exciting to me!  I have a bunch of jewelry dies on the way, and absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on them!! Between this and flower dies, I am a Sizzix maniac.  Any must know tips you seasoned sizzix-ers wanna throw my way would be appreciated.

  1. Love that Steampunky Pray necklace. I’ve never used a Sissix machine before but it seems like you can do a lot with them!

  2. I LOVE this. I have a new polymer clay obsession, and combining that with jewelry is AWESOME! I see the Sizzix is a die cutting machine, I just never realized you could make jewelry with it as well. May I ask which machine you use?

  3. Just wanted to no how you made the burlap dress form…..if you did not make then where did you get it? Thank you!!! I love it!!! Sherry
