I have been a busy girl, playing with spray inks, stamps and my new printer (which I scored over the holiday for a steal)! As a result, here are a couple of free printables for you to enjoy! This is a watercolor paper sprayed with Dylusions for the background, stamped with inkadinkado Insect Amalgam cling stamp, and touched up with white gel pin and black Pitt pen for depth.
Just right click the link under the thumbnails to pull up the full res file and save it to your computer or print. I also included just a watercolor background for you to play with in Photoshop.
***UPDATE: After much research on printers for mixed media art, I landed on the Epson Artisan 837, and am loving it! Gorgeous scans, prints, wireless, vibrant, perfect so far.

Hi there – these are gorgeous and I’m curious, what kind of printer do you use? I’m investigating the best type of printer for mixed media and I haven’t come across the ultimate one size does all yet.
So glad you asked. I bought the Epson artisan 837 at office depot on Dec 22 for $149 and $50 off that for turning in my old printer. I know Staples had it for $149 at that time too. I did a lot of research and came up with this as a great option for my mixed media projects. Then I found an amazing deal. What a great day. I hope this helps. Good luck.
That watercolor background is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! I’m so happy to hear your printer advice too since I’m looking at getting an Epson as well, but all the different model choices were starting to overwhelm me. Glad to know you’re happy with yours!
These printables are beautiful! I love that quite a few of us got new printers for Christmas! I did too. I have almost the identical, after also doing so much research too, and I chose the Epson Artisan 50. Great minds think alike? 🙂
