Love this list! We use the smaller jars with silicon baby bottle sleeves as durable, non-plastic drinking glasses for our kids.
Love these ideas. I am constantly looking for new ways to use my mason jars. I gave up on using expensive drinking glasses that chip and break when dropped and like Katrina we use them for drinking glasses.
These are great! You can also use these ideas to upcycle old spaghetti sauce jars. It’s much cheaper than using Mason jars, and more earth friendly!
This is a great collection! I just got engaged and we’re planning an August wedding and I am planning on incorporating mason jars into the decor. These are helpful ideas!

I sure do love all of these great ideas for mason jars. My only problem is, I use them for apricots, plums, and apples from our yard. And I always run out of them!!

That is a great question, Michelle. I have never needed that many. We collected various mason jars from thrift stores and garage sales for a summer wedding, which worked because we had a lot of time to gather them, and we didn’t care if they were mismatched. If you want them all the same, or don’t have time to gather over several months, I found these at DollarTree http://www.dollartree.com/Kerr-Glass-Canning-Pint-Jars/p306655/index.pro. Where do you get the wire to hang the mason jars?
Good question, Latisha. I found mine at Joann Fabrics. I know it is also available, at least where I live, at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and even WalMart. If you can’t find it, just ask an store employee for craft wire. You could also use a wire hanger – just straighten it out and follow the instructions I linked here. Hope that helps!
