These simple quilled paper beads are made with AstroBrights paper. They are super easy to make, inexpensive, and one pack of AstroBrights would make 5 bracelets for every wrist in the United States (that is just an estimate). This tutorial shows you the process of quilling the paper strips into the cylinder beads. Goosebumps shimmer texture spray was used to seal and give texture with a quick spritz. Use your beads in your own designs, or use my macrame charm bracelet video tutorial, like I did here…
Supplies:
Cutting mat
exacto
straight edge
*If you have the Cuttlebug Daisy Kit, you don’t need the mat, exacto and straight edge – just use your die to cut the strips for the beads.
These are so cool! My daughter had made some a couple years ago out of scrapbook paper, but I LOVE the Astrobrights colors, so cute. Thank you for sharing 🙂

Thanks Tanya!
Okay that turned out cute. Way to get creative with the Astrobrights paper. I think it looks great.
Thanks Beckie! I am wearing it all the time 🙂
Oh these bracelets are super cute! I love Astrobrights neon paper. It practically glows and comes in lots of cool colors.
Hi,
I was wanting to know if these are waterproof? like if I were to wash my hands while wearing the bracelet. It probably depends on the glue right?
Any tips for keeping the paper rolling straight? Ours keep going askew and making a cone shape instead of neat beads. Thanks!
