TUTORIAL:
Cut styrofoam sphere in half. I showed you how to use the styrofoam cutter in my Faux Wood Pallet Styrofoam Flag Tutorial.
Cut flowers either by tracing template onto paint chips and cutting out by hand (no thank you) or using Eilleen Hull’s Borders and Hydranges Die linked in the supplies section.
Press into the center of the flower, then into each petal with a large ball stylus or other similar tool, on a foam mat.
Glue cupped flower petals side by side all over the half sphere until it is full as pictured. For the leaves, I used Tim Holt’s Jumbo Tattered Florals Die with green cardstock. You could also google “leaf template” and trace that onto cardstock to cut by hand.
Use the small ball stylus to emboss veins on the leaves as shown, also on the foam mat.
