I found this lil cute tin DVD container at The Flower Factory. It was $0.99. Wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it, but I knew something would come to me. Later that day, I was contemplating what to get for a friend’s birthday party. This woman is strong in her faith, and it occurred to me to make her some inspirational CD’s and DVD’s. And I had the perfect packaging in mind!
This was simple: I cut to size, rounded the corners, and adhered the paper to the front of the tin. The paper was self-adhesive… sweet! Next, I drilled a hole for the placement of the flower and metal sentiment. I inserted the brad into the center of my embellishments and flattened its fastener on the underside of the tin’s lid. Next, I placed a bling-tastic circle frame around the flower. Finally, I added lil’ sticky graphite sparkly mosaic tile looking squares to the bottom.
Loaded the tin with inspiring goodies on disk, and off I went to enjoy pizza and friends.
